Hey everybody and welcome to a little bluey short or whatever Jesse decides to call this. I'm flying solo. I'm Justin Gruber. Great to be here talking with you on the blue and the bottle podcast and sadly I'm without my amazing co-host my brother Jesse because we're just slamming busy all the time. But we wanted to get some content out there because so many of you have listened to this podcast and many of you have a feedback and by the way feel free to leave feedback. Give us a rating. Write in your feedback if you're enjoying it or what you'd like to hear more of. We try to do the segments in the show. Try to get it flowing for you just so that you can connect what we do love bluey but ultimately how much we love God and His Word and connecting that some way to something else that we love. The little bits that we can pull out in the bluey episodes and kind of talk about how the Bible comes to bear in something that we love like bluey. But there's something else that maybe that you want to hear or something else that you enjoy. Just let us know. Give us a review. Write us a little thing. Don't write that you wish there was more bluey in the Bible episodes because let me tell you we wish there were more bluey in the Bible episodes. I'm kidding. You can let us know if you want more. It really does help us to kind of know where we're heading, where to go with it. We have another podcast where both, you know, husbands, fathers, pastors were both actively engaged all the time at our job. So we're kind of holding a lot of hats. But do review and let us know. Give us some feedback. We'd love to hear from you. Emory glad that you're enjoying the podcast. This is just going to be a little character episode, a little walk away from all the episodes that we do, but in the breakdowns that we do. And this is just going to be a little focused in fun, little probably five minute, not long. Just a breakdown of one of the characters and the character that I kind of picked to start us off here with our little character episodes was chili, chili healer. You know chili very well. She is the, you know, red and cream colored healer of the family. She is the one that is the mother. She's she's bandits. Bandits wife. She is bluey and bingo's mom. And we see her come into many of the episodes. She's she's not in all the episodes. She certainly is missing from some and you can find whole websites that will tell you every episode that that chili is not in. But really she does a great job of focusing in on the kids and focusing on what their needs are. And in the midst of just the craziness of life and living as every mom, I think, does somehow has this innate ability from God as you were created to be just like the Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit in dwells the believers in Christ. And the Holy Spirit is called the helper. It's just because we just can't seem to get everything done for God's glory. There's no way we must have the Holy Spirit. There is no way to do it. It's we need help. So too when God creates man and woman, he creates the woman to be the helper. And that's not a denigrating role. That's that's the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. It's the role of the Holy Spirit that he played even in Jesus Christ's life as he's in dwell by the Spirit and constantly does the will of the Father always and forever the triune God working together to bring about his glory through the deathbrain resurrection, which we just celebrated at Easter. And so it's not a denigrating role, but somehow women, moms, particularly have this amazing multitask ability. And I think chili puts that on display really, really well in all the episodes. She's constantly making sure the kids have their needs, maybe making this fun. And maybe she's not as silly as bandit is, but she gets into the imaginations just as much as they all do. We do know some things about chili, namely one of the three episodes that we have not yet done. And you know, in about 20 years, we'll get to, is the episode where we get to meet her dad, Mort. And that's a really it's a really sweet episode. I really do love that. We have the fairy tale episode where they're drawing the cartoons and we find out that it's implied that Chili's mom has passed away and boys that an awesome episode and then super touching, super sad. Just like a great tear-jerker episode. And me and my brother do not care. We do cry at Bluey. Absolutely. And if you don't, you know, I just say, you know, you need help because there's just some really sweet awesome things that happen in Bluey. We know that about Bluey's parents. She does have her sister who shows up in the pajama episode. Oh my gosh. Talk about a heartstrings episode. That just so pulls on you when her sister Brandy is there. Oh my gosh. Wow. Can't wait to do that episode. That's one of my favorites. It's for the weight of it. It's got a very weighty episode. But Brandy is her sister. And we also know what she does, which is also kind of fun. It's kind of taking us time over the seasons to find out. She had taken time off and spent a lot of time at home as she had the kids. But now she's back part time working airport security. And this is not an episode about Bandit. But we also do have a good thing about what Bandit himself does. And there's just some really fun, you know, online, super online kind of rumors. I'll read this little quote from an article that I found. We have a couple where one of them has an intimate knowledge on how to bypass airport security. And the other is regularly digging up rare and expensive items. Possibly Bluey's parents could be up to some nefarious activities. It's very funny. Some sort of like a, you know, agent or high espionage thing going on. But she works airport security. And in fact, we get a little glimpse possibly of that in the episode known as the sleepover when she pretends to be a police lady. She has a hat and a badge. And some respect, some speculate that that is actually from her actual airport security job. And so she works part time now that the kids are, she spent time with the kids and they're kind of growing up. And she's, she's, she's there for them, but also doing that. And it's just a wonderful reminder. Proverbs 31 is just so overdone, I guess, that people have taken it kind of for granted right now. But it does talk about this, this most excellent woman. And the Proverbs 31 woman is constantly going. She is so focused on her family, but she's also doing for the good of her family and the glory of God. And I think we do get a good glimpse of that in Chile. In fact, if anything in Chile, there's just more of a desire to want to be even more at home. And that's probably a good note. I mean, to really understand how God has wired women. One of the saddest parts of culture nowadays is how denigrated it is to have children, to bear children. As if the greatest gift that has been given to women, the ability to actually reproduce other human beings is something to be denigrated. That's just ridiculous. That's just, that's this ass-in-line to say out loud, expressing that out loud. But, but just the desire for, for a mom to want to be with her children, is something that I think Chile has always done a great job expressing. And the fact that she also does a good job of trying to keep, you know, the kids in line and focused. And we all know how difficult that is just as parents with children. But she really does focus on it well at the same time still having fun. And I think that there's that's that great interplay between what a mom and dad express differently in the home, right? The, the, the man to be there and a little more risk-taking and a little more silliness at times. And the mom to bring that structure and that nurturing and that care that is always present. And they provide these two bouncing views. They actually make this nice complete image of God when we see the different aspects of of masculinity and femininity expressed in a mother and a father. And it's really, really cool. And, and Chile is an awesome character. And I am, I mean, not everybody, not on this podcast, on our other podcast everybody knows, but as a redhead who married a redhead and who has three beautiful redhead children, you know, Chile's redhead and redheads are awesome, you know? So I'm just going to go ahead and throw that out there. And, and this is, this is just a short little episode just to talk about Chile and give you a little character breakdown. And super excited without going into too many of the episodes that I love the Chile's in. And I'm looking forward to actually getting to them someday, you know, as we have so many episodes to put we to cover. But this is just a quick little episode, just to connect back with you to tell you thank you for listening, talk about Chile healer. And again, connect with us. Let us know, give us feedback where we listen to podcasts, what you like, what you don't like, what you'd like more of. But you guys have been awesome to kind of really take something that is really just a passion project. We just love doing it and really connect with us. So we're really thankful for you. And as we say every time, we'll see you next time, kids.
